The world’s religions are fundamentally different.
While many religions share same common belief and moral values, fundamentals and irreconcilable differences clearly divide them on many core issues. These included the nature of God, the focus and source of revelation, the human predicament, the nature of salvation, and the destiny of mankind. Same religion affirm one God, other many Gods, still others all is God. In Judaism and Islam God is personal and singular, In Christianity God is super personal and triune, in Hinduism and Buddhism God is apersonal and diffuse.
Beliefs about mankind’s ultimate problem (sin, ignorance , lack of enlightenment) and the human response (faith, obedience and meditation) represent contrast among religions. These distinction of ultimate reality and truth cannot be right in all of them, for they are logically irreconcilable.
Attempts to reduce all religions to a common meaning are futile.
Different religious belief remain logically irreconcilable
Jews, Christians, and Muslims all conceive the identity of Jesus Christ differently: human teacher, thus blasphemer, God incarnate, and human prophet, logically speaking their conception can not all be true.
So those who would be pluralist must abandon the very principle of logic.
